When does your health insurance start as an Air Traffic Controller?

I have been given a preliminary assignment for an Air Traffic Controller position (Boston ARTCC). I still have to pass my medical, security, and psycological exam. I was wondering when does the insurance start because I have a disease that will not disqualify me from ATC work but will cause me financial distress if I have to pay for the medication without insurance?When does your health insurance start as an Air Traffic Controller?

it has nothing to do with your line of work but usually your coverage starts when you receive the paperwork and member id.. and u dont get coverage till wen you actually start the job and been hired
