How do I fix buttons that get stuck on a controller?

In particular, an xbox controller. The green A button has been sticking and its messing up my gameplay.How do I fix buttons that get stuck on a controller?
the controller holds together with small Philips screws underneath , set yourself on a clean table and take it apart, you will see a rubber like silicone contact, clean it with warm water, and mild soap, dry it with a hair drier on warm setting, reassemble, if you don t want to take it appart, put it in the dishwasher, put the dishwasher on normal setting, don t worry you won t damage the controller, i ve done hundreds of computer keyboards like that , worked every time, after its all done cleaning, let it do it drying cycle, then take it out, set the hairdryer next to the controller on warm , not hot, and let it dry for at least 30 minutes.

wash your hands before you play. it's just dirt and grim in there...
Open it and see wats wrong after clean it with soft silk like toilet paper and but just a lil bit of water ok!
